Mao Feng, 'hairy mountain tea' in Chinese, is a type of Chinese green tea, known for its straight and sturdy leaves and unsophisticated style.
Listed the 3rd celebrated green tea in China, only after "Dragon Well" Long Jing and "Spring Nail" Bi Luo Chun, its production followed very specific processes, mainly consisting of withering, hand-rolling, and roasting. There are four classes in this tea. The first class is harvested around the end of March, and the second to fourth grades are harvested later on in the year. |
