Huo Shan Huang Ya, also called Mt. Huo Yellow Sprout, is a rare type of Yellow tea. It was used as an Imperial tribute tea back in the Ming and Qing Dynasty. The processing technique was said to be lost and only to be re-discovered after the 1970s. Since then, Huo Shan Huang Ya has been sent as a precious present to great leaders of China every year. This tea won the Commercial Products of Good Quality in 1990 and China's Tea Cup in 1999 and many other recognitions and awards.

Huo Shan Huang Ya has a rich and mellow nutty aroma and a slight floral aftertaste that can linger in the mouth and the nose after having a sip. The color of the tea coup is a bright and clear greenish yellow.
